Lynn Fitzgerald Walker grew up in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, went to college in Rhode Island and then pursued a Master's Degree at Boston University. After her two daughters were born, she began studying traditional painting at The Lyme Academy of Fine Artists in Old Lyme, Connecticut. For years she painted what she loved, her children. She has sold over 1,000 oil paintings in galleries from St. Barts to Paris, Martha's Vineyard and now Southampton. Her latest solo show at the Mystic Art Museum, Mystic, Connecticut, was an abstract exhibition in collaboration with a modern dance troupe.
Her entire family is creative, one daughter is a fine jewelry designer, another is a painter as well as an interior designer. And her husband sculpts. She resides in Niantic, Connecticut with her Boston Terrier, Annie.
